West Bay man arrested following machete fight

(CNS): A 29-year-old West Bay man was arrested on Sunday night after a fight in the district landed another man in hospital. Police said that officers were dispatched to the scene at the junction of Reverend Blackman and Birch Tree Hill Roads at around 7:15pm on 13 November, following a report of the fight. Inquiries led the police to another address in the district, where they recovered two machetes and arrested the suspect on suspicion of wounding. 

A man who was wounded in the fight was treated for minor injuries at Cayman Islands Hospital and released. The suspect has been released on police bail.

      That will happen as soon as the canal is dug from the Yacht Club to SMB. The bridge is already in place. They’ll just need to put the toll booths, customs and immigration on either side.
