(CNS): A 56-year-old George Town man who is already on remand at HMP Northward for sexual offences was charged with more sex-related crimes Thursday. The man is accused of gross indecency as well as infecting his underage victim with a sexually transmitted disease, with the charge of committing a negligent act likely to spread an infectious disease. The charges relate to an incident with the minor in the capital in September.

The suspect, who was in court earlier this week regarding charges for the other sex offence, was refused bail and he is now expected back before the courts on the latest counts on Monday.
