North West Point, West Bay

(CNS): Police have started an investigation into the death of a man pulled from the ocean Tuesday morning off the coast of North West Point, West Bay. A release from the RCIPS stated that a member of the public called 911 at around 7:45am today stating that a body had been seen floating in the water across from the Turtle Farm. The police and emergency services responded to the call and the body of a man, who officials said appeared to be around 40 years old, was pulled from the water.

A car believed to belong to the victim was found onshore near to the scene as well as items that suggested the dead man had been on a fishing trip. Police gave no other details and there was no indication if there were signs of a boat.
