Another sex crime case sent to court

(CNS): The RCIPS has revealed that a 29-year-old unidentified man from West Bay appeared in court Friday charged with a list of serious sex crimes that took place earlier this month. Police said the man had been charged in relation to offences on two different women two weeks apart. The RCIPS sent out a press release after the defendant made his appearance in the court and it is not clear if he was bailed or remanded in custody.

The man is charged with one count of indecent assault on a woman on 1 October. He is also charged with another four counts in relation to an assault on a woman on 15 October, including assault causing actual bodily harm, attempted rape and two counts of indecent assault.

No other details have been made available.
