Thieves make off with church safe, laptop and SUV
(CNS): Police are on the hunt for a white and beige 2005 Ford Expedition, registration number 106 642, which was stolen from outside the Agape Church during a burglary at the weekend. Police said they responded to the break-in report on Saturday morning at around 5am at the church on Fairbanks Road. The thieves entered the side of the church office through a window and took a laptop and a safe, as well as the SUV (pictured left).
The police are asking the public to help track down the stolen vehicle but say that the registration plates may have been changed.
If anyone sees a Ford Expedition that they believe may be the vehicle they are asked to contact the police on 949-4222 or Crime Stoppers on 800-8477(TIPS).

Robery is robery and a thief is a thief. These people must be caught and punished according to the law.
How did they run off with the SUV? Were the keys left in the ignition?
Church too much for themselves today anyway; too much money and materialism in 90% of the churches on island. It’s a business!
That’s why you got robbed!
You just made my stomach turn..
What you said could go for anything eg a successful business or a wealthy individual. Oh they have so much and are materialistic so they should not have it.
With your premise everyone has a right to be robbed.
The church is made up of ordinary people. When people steal they steal from their neighbors, brothers and sisters.
They lucky god wasn’t home.
Thanks Mac!
Agree, instead of Mac & Company who love & hate Jamaicans moving their to be with their ancestors they’ve turned Cayman into Jamaica witnessed in the changes to social and cultural norms
when you import individuals from poverty what do expect
Perhaps they see themselves as modern day robin hood. Robbing those that feel guilty of sin to pay a 10th of their hard earned money on a chance at redemption. It’s the worlds biggest lottery..unfortunately no one can prove if anyone won that lottery. might be the Biggest scam on earth but how dare I say such a thing against a church blessed by god. Oh ya…do a little good here and there to entice others to slave for your church.
That is why it is called ‘faith’, I find it amusing that athiest’s find the need to advertise or even try to convert believers. Why bother? What do you have to gain from it! Leave us alone to believe in our ‘lottery’. You have your point of view, and I respect it. You chose your path, I chose mine. The church got robbed and you take this opportunity to poke fun at it and religion, yet I would opine that at some point in your life, you have experienced faith in a person or situational outcome.
“I find it amusing that athiest’s find the need to advertise or even try to convert believers.”
This is hands down the most hilarious statement I’ve ever read!! Oh the irony LMAO
LOL! I guess you could say, ‘Is nothing sacred now?’
Seriously, the fact that the thieves had no issues hitting a church simply shows how irrelevant religion is to most people now.
And how exactly did you deduce that sweeping generalization?
Liberal Mental Disorder Syndrome causes those infected to spew incoherent ramblings
Damn stealing thieves…
Well at least it wasn’t east enders They wouldn’t take a laptop
If the church had piles of money in their safe, perhaps a better use of it would have been to assist those who need help out of poverty. Thieves redistributing wealth.
I have a safe in my home it contains no money, but only documents and items of value (not necessarily monetary value) Safes are used to keep items secure, not always for money.
Hah? Today is Wednesday last time I checked. What a joke to report this only today
