Police round up one of three street muggers

(CNS): A 20-year-old man from George Town who was arrested last Friday night has been charged with robbery in connection with a street mugging on Walkers Road earlier this month. The man has been accused of being one of three men who robbed a cyclist as he was riding close to Cayman Academy off Walker’s Road on the night of 4 May. Police said three men wearing hoodies threatened the victim and made off with his phone and cash. The cyclist was not physically hurt during the course of the crime. The suspect is due to appear in court Monday.
