Nineteen people arrested over weekend
(CNS): January ended with a spike in arrests for the RCIPS after officers rounded up 19 suspects in connection with various crimes this weekend. As well as a number of burglary suspects and a man who was charged with the illegal possession of a handgun and ammunition, the police arrested people for assault, provoking fear or violence, and drug-related offences. An RCIPS spokesperson said the 19 arrests since Friday came about as a result of officers following up leads on specific offences, executing warrants and stop-checks.
So, 10 or so less of the 506 outstanding warrant cases? Glad to see the RCIPS suddenly feel up to putting down the dominos, getting out of their chairs at the clubhouse, and tackling that backlog. What’s the current outstanding warrant tally? Feel safer already!
Please conduct more of these checks, thanks RCIPS.
That’s 1/1000 of the local population.
They should come to East End were they are so much people driving drunk with unlicensed car. Motorbikes speeding up and down the road riders without helmets lights and they too are unlicensed
and yet, I bet if they would come to East End suddenly nobody has heard or seen anything right? Not my husband, brother, uncle, nephew etc.
Nobody needs to say anything thats what they should patrolling the streets for.
That’s exactly why they won’t be coming to east end.
