Men to stand trial over violent assaults

(CNS): Cory Bowen (29) from George Town pleaded not guilty on Friday to unlawfully wounding a man during a violent incident in Prospect last month. Bowen is accused of stabbing his victim multiple times in the neck during an altercation in Dogwood Drive and will now face trial in March next year. Meanwhile, Chad Ebanks also denied unlawfully wounding a man during another separate violent incident which took place in March in East End.

Ebanks is accused of assaulting a man with a machete and will face trial in April next year on two counts of wounding and possession of a machete outside his home.
