Obama plans official trip to Jamaica
(CNS): The United States president, Barack Obama, will be visiting the Caribbean next month on an official trip to Cayman’s neighbor, Jamaica. The high-profile visit was revealed by Portia Simpson Miller, the Jamaican PM, Tuesday and will involve “bilateral discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest”, she said.
Miller won’t be the only Caribbean leader to meet with the US president, however, as a meeting of heads of government from the Caribbean will also be there for discussions on issues on the CARICOM-USA agenda.
Simpson Miller said the visit is the second by a US president since the country’s independence
“We view the President’s upcoming visit as an affirmation of the strong ties of friendship and cooperation that have united our two peoples for centuries,” she said. “We are confident that through fruitful dialogue and exchanges during the visit we will succeed in further strengthening the close relations that exist at the bilateral level between Jamaica and the USA, and between the USA and CARICOM.”

I hope they pickup all the trash alongside the roads just before his visit. As a Jamaican I find it very upsetting and appalling to see so much trash being thrown a out the place. The thought of potus visiting Jamaica and seeing all that trash is embarrassing to be honest.
If the POTUS visited Cayman I bet his first stop would be Maples and Calder. I flove you Obama!
