Drunk driver hits pedestrian after crash on Hirst Road
(CNS): A 41-year-old man from George Town was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Wednesday evening after he knocked down a pedestrian following a crash with another vehicle on Hirst Road in Newlands near the intersection of Rex Crighton Boulevard. Drivers ‘smash’ record with 94 collisions in one week
(CNS): The RCIPS is reporting a significant increase in road collisions, with an average this year of 66 crashes per week rising to a record-breaking 94 per week over the last fortnight.
