Cayman News Service(CNS): Police arrested a 37-year-old woman Wednesday on suspicion of robbery in connection with the armed hold-up at a jewellery store on the West Bay Road last week. The heist happened at Mitzi’s Fine Jewelry on Wednesday 18 November at around 1pm in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach tourist area. At the time police said that one man, armed with a handgun, had been involved but no injuries were reported.

When police arrived at the scene they arrested a man and seized a vehicle but he has since been bailed, an RCIPS spokesperson stated.

Earlier this week police put out a request to the public to help them find Madeiny Ebanks-Pol (37), also known as Madeiny Williams-Rodriquez or Madeiny Ebanks, as they said they were pursuing an investigation into several incidents that occurred at the store between Friday 13 November and the day of the robbery.
