Man sustains serious stab wound in fight

(CNS) UPDATED: One man is in hospital and a second has now been charged after a fight at a home in George Town just before midnight on Wednesday. Police and the emergency medical services were dispatched to the residence on Watler’s Road following a report of an altercation between the two men, who were known to each other, during which one of them had been stabbed. The wounded man was taken to hospital, where is undergoing treatment for what is believed to be a serious injury. A 25-year-old man from George Town was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH he has since been charged with wounding with intent and was scheduled to appear in summary Monday.
