Cops arrest one man for drug dealing
(CNS): A 28-year-old man has been bailed by police following his arrest in a drug bust in George Town last Friday. The RCIPS stated that uniformed officers from George Town Police Station conducted a “proactive operation” when they visited a home on Shedden Road in the centre of the capital, where a search warrant was executed.
“A quantity of vegetable matter resembling ganja and utensils used in the preparation of illegal drugs were recovered,” police said but they have not revealed the quantity seized, despite press requests.
The 28-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of vegetable matter resembling ganja with intent to supply and suspicion of consuming a controlled drug at the time of the raid, has been bailed to return to the police station at a later date as enquiries continue.
No releasing details of the quantity seized…I bet the value of what was discovered is significantly less that what it will cost US to imprison this individual at HMP.
Hey Bainsie, kudos to you and the RCIPS…….you got another one off the streets.
Let us hope that DPP don’t mess this one up and all your hard work does to nothing.
Thank you to the uniformed officers who made the arrest.
about time they raided that house in the middle of town I guess my rant paid off
nothing like doing something about the obvious
But wait batman those little rocks were drugs also not chunks of soap like they told you
Yet another bush medicine doctor needlessly arrested to become fodder for our bursting at the seams jail. The real white collar criminals are still out there pushing prescription drugs.
