GT man charged with stabbing victim in neck
(CNS): A 38-year-old man from George Town is expected to appear in court today to face a list of offences regarding a stabbing on Monday night on Webb Road, off North Sound Way. The victim had arrived at the George Town hospital with a stab wound to his neck sometime after 9:30pm on 28 November and the police were called.
A man who was known to the victim was subsequently arrested and charged yesterday with wounding, possession of an offensive weapon and drug-related offences.
The wounded man remains in hospital.
