(CNS): Police are investigating a report of an assault right outside the victim’s home in the early hours of Thursday morning at an address off Hirst Road, Bodden Town. The man had just returned to his residence when he was confronted outside by a man he knew. The victim fled inside his house, but as he did, he was struck by an unknown object, which wounded his forehead. The culprit then fled the scene.

The man went to the hospital for treatment for the injury, which police said did not appear to be life-threatening and he has since been discharged.

Officers who attended the scene saw the damage to the door and a window of the house. Initial examinations indicate that these were damaged by blunt force, and there is no evidence that a firearm was discharged.

The police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact Bodden Town CID at 947-2220.

So much for the Godfather saying: keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Not sure why witnesses are required if the victim knows the person.

If the victim knows who did this to them, why aren’t we reading that the perp is in custody? Make it make sense.

What has this got to do with a Jamaican? Racists like you shouldn’t be allowed to comment on anything. Look in the mirror and have a word with your ignorant self.

Like what 2:02 said, don’t blame us, blame your fellow Jamaicans for coming here and giving a horrible rep to your people.

I’ve never had a bad interaction with Philippine people.

Anyone who thinks this is an overly racist or generalized comment, kindly walk down eastern ave on a Friday afternoon between 5pm and sunset. You will then see why it’s called little Kingston. And no, I don’t hate all expats – have some as dear friends, but my god..

Enjoy the pleasantly blaring “battiman fi ded” music while the DJ hollers into a microphone at 200 dB despite there being a law against loud music.

You will see this exact description 9001 times over, and maybe one genuine Caymanian in the midst. What have we done.. What have we become..?

Imported poverty builds luxury condos that get a one off tax that 99% of Caymanians will never afford. The roads have two lanes but Caymanians are outnumbered 1 to 2.
