Young man critical after stabbing on Seven Mile Beach

(CNS): A 21-year-old man is currently in hospital in critical condition following a stabbing in the parking lot of the Seven Mile Public Beach in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The police learned about the incident, which happened at about 2am on 20 July, after emergency personnel at the hospital called the 911 Communications Centre, which dispatched police to the emergency room where the young man had arrived with a serious stab wound. Police were informed that the man had been stabbed by another man, who was known to one of the victim’s friends.
