Poll: Which incumbents are vulnerable?
(CNS): Incumbent candidates often have the advantage over their challengers but are not necessarily a shoo-in for re-election. Their record in office can be a double-edged sword, as voters look at what they did or didn’t do and judge whether they approve of their time in parliament. What policies they stand by is generally known, which can work in their favour unless the mood of the country has shifted and they haven’t.
Nevertheless, incumbents are recognisable, which is always good for a candidate. Read more, comment and vote in the poll here.
