Robber mugs man then steals from bar patrons
(CNS): A masked man armed with a machete approached another man in the street somewhere in the Shedden Road area of downtown George Town Tuesday night sometime before 10:00pm and demanded cash. The robber made off on foot with an undisclosed quantity of cash before he reportedly ran through the outside area of a bar in the area, causing patrons to flee. The robber is said to have then made off with personal items people had left behind.
Police said the initial report was about the machete-wielding man running through the unnamed bar somewhere near the junction of Main Street, where people were sitting outside. But when officers responded, they learned that just before the robber ran through the bar, a man had been mugged on the street nearby by a man with a machete
Police said the incidents are linked. The suspect in both was about 5’8″ and of medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, white and black shoes and a black mask. No injuries were reported in either incident.

saw a man of this description walking down Walker’s Road today with an orange-handled short machete and a distinctive look- deep-set eyes, a prominent nose well-proportioned to his face. It had a straight bridge and was slightly broad at the base. He had high and defined cheekbones, which added to the structure of his face and gave it a strong, angular appearance & well-defined jawline

Im actually convinced they dont want the culprits caught. Who do the police top brass answer to? They should be fired for putting out constant reports like these.
At least they gave us the super-helpful clues that the perp was about average height, average build, and a black hoodie. That narrows it down to about 2 billion people.
Damn, I didn’t know the Cayman population grew that much!
