Suspect nabbed returning to burglary scene
(CNS): A suspected thief who was caught by police George Town, possibly after he returned to the of scene for a second break-in, has been charged with two counts of burglary. The man was arrested Sunday evening after a police officer on patrol along Shedden Road near Crewe Road spotted a car exiting a driveway, which he felt was suspicious. The officer stopped the car near Dorcy Drive and searched the man’s car, in which goods that appeared to have been taken from a nearby warehouse were found.
The 39-year-old man from West Bay was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into police custody.
After that his home address was searched and missing goods taken from the same premises the previous day were discovered at the house. He was charged and was expected in court Tuesday
