(CNS): A tropical wave that is sitting over the Cayman Islands could cause flooding on the islands throughout this weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Forecasters warn that scattered showers with embedded thundershowers that are expected across the Cayman area may lead to localized floods. The wave is moving towards the west to northwest and the local forecast is calling for rain well into next week, with small craft warnings in effect for Saturday and Sunday. With the start of the Atlantic hurricane season on Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center is currently giving the tropical wave just a 10% chance of becoming a storm.

Has anyone else noticed that the number of cars (usually dark in colour) not using lights at times of darkness or storm is directly linked to their criminal driving?

I just past two cars, headed the other direction, speeding like hell through Savannah. That’s not the interesting point. There was a police car parked off on an angle that didn’t even go after them!!!! I guess the cop didn’t want to get wet!

I beg all drivers to PLEASE put headlights on when there are heavy showers and dark skies!!! Rule of thumb, if your wipers are on, then turn on headlights too! Be safe on the roads everyone!
