NS man arrested for attempted murder

(CNS): A 23-year-old man from North Side has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing incident on Wednesday, 20 April, on Lariat Road. Police said the suspect is currently in police custody, while the 36-year-old male victim is still in hospital in critical but stable condition and is due to be taken off island to Jamaica for treatment.

Police said at the time of the stabbing that when police and medical personnel arrived in response to an emergency call, they found a group of people trying to help a man who was on the ground and bleeding from stab wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital.
