Police learned Monday that there was a brawl involving a number of people at Campbell’s Bar on Portland Round at around 10:30pm on 27 March and that gunshots were heard during the altercation. The police were not called at the time, an RCIPS spokesperson said.

No one was reported injured and the matter is now under investigation by the George Town CID. Anyone with any information is asked to call 949-4222 or CrimeStoppers at 800-8477(TIPS).

If the RCIP were organized they would start doing a “walk through” nightly, at the problematic bars. Its called “Policing”. Its a preventative measure.

    It’s clearly all Baines’ fault.

It’s not ONLY Jamaica and Honduras. Many other countries have higher crime rates. The main problem in Cayman is that Caymanians don’t report crime to the RCIPS and instead just let things happened. STOP crying and do something about it.

Caymanians set on the side lines and talked about it for too long instead of doing something about crime. Now Baines will leave and they have no plan to fix the issue.

The news reads like it is Jamaica or Honduras. Why have we allowed it to get like this?
