Police seek witnesses to single car crash

(CNS): A 20-year-old female driver was taken to hospital following a car smash around 7:00 this morning (24 February) on Shamrock Road, Savannah, near the junction with Destiny Drive. Police are seeking witnesses to the crash, in which the woman, who was alone in her Kia, lost control of the car on the left road shoulder before colliding with a tree.

The vehicle overturned, receiving major damage, though driver received only slight injuries and was transported to the George Town hospital by ambulance. The matter is under investigation by Uniformed Officers from the Bodden Town Police Station.
