(CNS) Updated: Hurricane Danny intensified dramatically on Thursday night and Friday morning and Weather Underground reports the storm as being category 3 status on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Danny remains almost 1,000 miles east of the Leeward Islands and may threaten Puerto Rico by Tuesday.
