Hunter promises ‘Freedom Street’ when CINP wins

(CNS): Julie Hunter, who is going to head-to-head with McKeeva BushMcKeeva Bush (WBW incumbent) is the longest-serving member of parliament (the “Father of the House”), having represented West Bay continuously for three decades. More, Cayman’s longest serving politician, in West Bay West, said a victory for her and the Cayman Islands National Party would see her constituents walking down “Freedom Street” on Thursday. While party leader Dan Scott
Dan Scott (CBE candidate) is the leader of the Cayman Islands National Party. He was EY regional manager until his retirement in June 2023. More wrapped up the lively rally on Monday night, Hunter lit up the crowd with her goal of unseating Bush, the biggest political scalp in the country.
“West Bay West, let me tell you, I have all confidence in you that come April 30, we are going to wake up to a new dawn. After 40 years, we are going to wake up and walk down Freedom Street. After 40 years, we are going to march down Freedom Street,” she said in her short speech during the party’s final rally in George Town.
As Scott wrapped up the spirited rally for the party, which has been criticised because it has no members with political experience, he once again argued that their lack of political legacy is their advantage. He said that the current class of politicians has sold the people out behind closed doors and spent “our money, raised the cost of living, destroyed trust in government, and created an immigration crisis”.
Urging people to vote for the CINP candidates, Scott said the CINP had the courage to do what others had been afraid to do for decades, as he committed to fixing the country’s myriad problems and to governing with integrity.

Channeling Braveheart no doubt.
Here’s praying we’ll wake up on Thursday morning to a Mac free Cayman.
A Kenneth Juju Seymour Saunders free Cayman would require miracles beyond the powers of even the Almighty, but we can always dream.
exactly – mac, kenneth, john john, juju, saunders and lonny lee will all be part of the next majority government am sure 4 others will quickly join.
Note – thin skin Dan Scott will claim success if CINP gets 2 or 3 seats at most.
Anyone except Bush. ANYONE.
Good luck Ms Hunter. Looking forward indeed to freedom from this embarrassing criminal .
Only 3 CINP candidates are getting elected
It’s 5 actually

Predictions are always difficult, especially if they involve the future.
craig merren, gary rutty and julie hunter
Those three for sure – and deservedly so – but do not discount Dan’s chances. The Brac deserves the best, and now has its chance.
Speaking of Bush, check out Agouti Collective’s video on YouTube. Food for thought indeed.
