(CNS): Police are investigating a shooting outside a West Bay house in the early hours of Thursday morning. Just before 3am on 5 June, police responded to a 911 call about a shot being fired at a residence off Billy Manderson Drive, off Town Hall Road. When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a dog belonging to the residents of the home lying wounded next to a vehicle.

The dog was taken to a vet but later succumbed to its injuries and was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported to the police in connection with the shooting. However, the vehicle, which also belonged to the residents, had been damaged.

Police are now investigating the circumstances of the shooting and asking anyone with information about what took place to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.

Human life is human life. Do you see any “wannabe” return to this realm? Have some remorse, or you could be next…never know.

Sorry but no, if you choose that type of life and play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. The reality is, the world is better off without some people. Also, a dog life is a dog life (I think, not really sure what you’re on about tbh).

Cayman seems to want to provide ever-expanding use cases for the ubiquitous $99 Ring camera. We might need to finally put one in the AMZN cart.

    Was the dog attacking?

Yes, I always carry an illegal and loaded gun at 3am in case of such an eventuality.

West bay wannabe gangstas have their pit bulls as some form of “don’t mess with me” I’m a big man message.
These dogs are vicious and illegal attack breeds , they’re not your licky lovable tail wagging family pooches.

Does justify killing one, does it? If it was defending its territory, that is its job. I don’t know what kind of dog it was, do you? The few pit bulls I have been acquainted with are loveable tail wagging to their family (the core pack) and those whom the dog perceives as being greeted in a friendly manner.

If some dirtbag was making an assault on the premises, the dog should be buried with honours, in the same way as a venerated family member. imvfho.

You have got to be kidding. pit has a “kill switch” or “seeing red.” He can turn on a dime, he is capable of attack.

I really don’t think you have ever truly known one of them, just seen them, or perhaps have be warned by them. JMFHO.

Painting with a broad brush, eh? Millions of pit bulls are great family pets and can be the sweetest dogs ever.

Just like humans, aggressive and violent behavior can be instilled in them through their owners.

Why isn’t the Department of Agriculture enforcing rules on pit bulls? Are they not imported?

There’s a guy who hangs out at the old Spanish Bay reef in WB. The dog is massive and vicious, keeps attacking other dogs and it’s uncaring owner watches proudly.
Reports to police have resulted in No action.
Guess they’re scared of dog and uncouth owner.

At 3 in the morning I’ve often wanted to get up and shoot the dogs that are barking all bloody night.
And the owners who allow it.

‘Owners’ in the loosest possible meaning of the word, you mean. Your order is wrong, too. XXXX, then take the dog to a proper owner who would train it properly/have it indoors.

If you know more about the dog and the owners than we do, you should be contacting the RCIPS. Maybe something you know will help. If you don’t know more than we do, then I would — with all due respect — invite you to STFU, because your speculations don’t help anything.

God bless. If it is right that He do so.

So the cops didn’t canvass the area and knock on doors? Place a unit in the area for a stakeout? Check registered gun owners?
