Roads to close for work in GT and on LPH
(CNS): Between 7:00pm Saturday and 5:00am Sunday, the westbound lanes of the Linford Pierson Highway between the CUC and Alamo roundabouts will be closed for paving work. The work is intended to improve the quality and safety of the road, and drivers are urged to follow the diversion signs and exercise caution in the area.
Meanwhile, a traffic diversion will be in place from 6:00am until midnight on Sunday in George Town from the junction of Dr Roy’s Drive and Edward St to facilitate work at the Post Office and Anderson Square Car Park.
Roadworks are subject to weather conditions.

The road expansion on LPH has been going on for almost 3 years now and is still far from completion, one patch at a time. A classic display of incompetence, mismanagement and money wasting.
Will they ever open the lane by the riding stables?!
Why is it 25mph too on that stretch? And on the western direction AFTER the school turn off? Three lanes but 25 mph ? SMH
25 mph my ass lol literally everybody does 50 on that road now
Hard not to
The longest overhaul ever which will provide zero . There’s no shops in George Town anyway and this is just squeezing the last out of them all .nightmare idea well done all involved. 😐😐😐
Why not call LPH a “temporary rolling car park, soon to have additional car parking”?
You can polish all the turds in the world, but between the dreadful road users we have, and the Hurley’s roundabout cluster, this will solve very little.
