Thieves make off with boats and trailer
(CNS): Over the last two weeks thieves have made off with two privately-owned boats as well as a boat trailer belonging to the Department of Environment in three separate crimes. Police officers are also still looking for ten missing vehicles reported stolen since the beginning of the year, including six motorcycles.
HSA rolls out new services and new clinics
(CNS): The Health Services Authority (HSA) has opened a new George Town General Practice (GP) and Public Health Clinics at the Smith Road Medical Centre as part of its overall plans to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare. The clinics open officially on Monday for booked appointments only.
Mask mandate remains in place, officials warn
(CNS): Restaurants and bars that are telling customers they no longer need to have masks and whose staff are no longer covering their faces are breaking the COVID-19 regulations, Public Health officials have said.
