One of our staff testing positive on Tuesday, due to the screening process and the company desire to have all staff tested. All of the other 17 employees tested negative. At Healthcare Pharmacy we take all recommended precautions including social distancing, PPE for all staff. masks for all customers/patients, hand sanitiser etc. The store at Grand Harbour was closed today for extensive cleaning and sanitisation according to the CDC guidelines. We are open for business tomorrow, Thursday, May 28. Rest assured that the staff member is isolated, paid full salary and will only return to work after 2 negative tests for the virus. I, Donald McLean, owner of Healthcare Pharmacy Ltd would like to thank all of our customers and patients for your support and understanding. We will ensure periodic testing of all of our staff and we are here to serve you.
    Thank you very much.

Soap is fine. Don’t overdo that. Inhaling chemicals is bad for your staff.

New thing is coming: electrostatic spraying for disinfection. On the surface it is a cool thing. But it is not chemicals-free or Eco-friendly the way I understand it. So if one has to wear PPE and wipe eating surfaces afterwards it is not safe for humans.

Are we going too far with germophobia? There is an epidemic of autoimmune diseases. And one of the causes is overuse of antibacterial stuff. Human bodies need certain germs to function properly
To kill norovirus one has to use some really serious chemicals. No chemicals needed for corona, regular soap will suffice.

I won’t be staying in hotels or eating at restaurants that use electrostatic spraying for disinfection, regardless of EPA approval.

Some businesses considering ultraviolet for disinfection and gets my approval.

The rise of allergy and autoimmune diseases is due to much more than rampant cleanliness.

The plan is almost complete, just a few more weeks of these meaningless and undefined suppression levels, and all the businesses (which aren’t owned by politically connected individuals) will close their doors, countless lives will be destroyed, but the Premier and Governor will claim victory in steering us through this “crisis” of one cruise ship passenger death and a few people with a cold!

Meanwhile the headline today is that due to early inaction 100,000 people in the USA didn’t have to die. You shouldn’t be given the privileged of posting anonymously so the world who can put a face to the abject stupidity that people like you emanate daily. Pressuring the government and fatiguing the people with such vile, undeniable garbage.

To date, 100k have died supposedly to covid19 in the USA. I say supposedly because anyone who dies with a positive test is COD covid 19, even those who were in hospice dying of other diseases. So what you’re saying is 100% of all covid 19 deaths in the USA were preventable. Sounds completely logical.

      👑😀Coronavirus
By their nature, individual coronaviruses are easily destroyed. Each virus particle consists of a small set of genes, enclosed by a sphere of fatty lipid molecules, and lipid shells are easily torn apart by soap. Lipid shells are also vulnerable to the elements. These viruses don’t endure in the world. They need bodies.

      🤮😢Norovirus
It gets in your food, in your laundry, it sticks to plates and it might even float into the air when you flush your toilet. It can last for weeks on a counter, on an elevator button or even on a doorknob.
Norovirus is enclosed in a structure called a capsid (the protein coat or shell of a virus particle). The norovirus virion is composed of 90 dimers (a molecule or molecular complex consisting of two identical molecules linked together) of the major capsid protein VP1 and one or two copies of the minor structural protein VP2.
It is impermeable to alcohol, so hand sanitizers cannot kill it.
Simple cleaning alone doesn’t always kill it, and it takes just a few particles of virus to sicken a person. It is pretty difficult to get rid of,
It is pretty stable. It lives quite some time on surfaces. It is hard to kill. And regular cleaner won’t get the virus off surfaces. CDC recommends using bleach, including chlorine bleach or hydrogen peroxide.

This is NOT norovirus. C19 don’t stick to surfaces. Closing for extra sanitation is NOT needed.
