Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas Speech 2019

(CNS): Queen Elizabeth II emphasised the need to set aside past differences and come together, as she gave her annual message to the Commonwealth this year. In her 68th Christmas broadcast, the 93-year-old monarch spoke about a “bumpy year”, but did not convey whether she was referring to the bumps in British politics or her own family.

In a sombre address, the Queen stressed the message of reconciliation, but also noted the arrival of her eighth great-grandchild, as well as the anniversaries of the D-Day landings and the landing of Apollo 11 on the moon.

I have had a bumpy year as well… there are three of them that I have to drive over on Denham Thompson.

Abolish all Commonwealth elected governments and re-establish an absolute monarchy with the hereditary peers as advisors.
It can’t be any worse than the efforts of elected MPs.

Looks like comments from our colonial citizens who nevertheless suck up the Queens awards.

An anachronism that needs to be consigned to history. There is no place in a modern democratic society for a royal family and certainly not one that holds any constitutional power. Seize their (our) lands, money and property and sell it and distribute it to those that actually need it. An entity such as the UK with all it’s wealth should NEVER have people queuing at foodbanks. Utterly disgusting. Abolish this blight on democracy. Better still, build the wall and keep the morris-dancing whippet-botherers out. Alba Gu Brath!

The book of Romans in your Bible states that God has given the Government to rule over us. Please read it. We need good leaders and we need each other. This Queen has been outstanding.
There will always be leaders and so think about who you vote for. Change your mind and pray for God to guide and lead all leaders and citizens in 2020. Bless you and family as we agree to disagree about the monarchy. This is England’s history. They have chosen to keep their way of life and Government. The English people have given us stability, good police, education and discipline.

The land and property of the crown already belong to the people. The royalty of The UK added and estimated $1.8 billion to the UK economy in 2014.

The Royal family nowadays has effectively no power, and are just a tourist attraction. Why else visit the UK? It’s full of idiot, xenophobic brexitors, and the coming years will only get worse.

Wanton self pity from privileged tax dodgers is less acceptable these days especially when she is sheltering a pedophile in the family.
