(CNS): A wave-runner rider escaped serious injury Wednesday, after the machine he was on exploded in a canal in the Prospect area around 8:30am. The emergency services were called out to the incident, where luckily no fire had been caused as a result of the explosion. The man was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. He has since been discharged and the incident is under investigation.
