When he is next convicted that would be relevant. He may be a Caymanian, or may not be. Someone in authority should be determining that.

Point of procedure: How is this recidivist burglar free to wander around our communities? Arrested in 2015, 2017 (denied bail), 2018…why are they released to do it again without an ankle monitor and long probationary curfew? How dumb are we?!?

Because the system has consistently failed Daniel since his days in Primary school.

The system has failed a lot of youth who never resorted to drugs or burglaries, myself included.

There is no such thing as a “system”, it’s just a name people use to remove blame from those who are responsible for wrongdoing, in particular parents who mate, have children and then do nothing to rear them while they go about their business of making more babies with different people.

The system? Really? How about the parents? Start with the parents… The parents failed Daniel. School was an opportunity for Daniel to learn something. He chose to learn the wrong lessons.
