WB woman arrested after barroom stabbing

Cayman News Service(CNS): A 26-year-old woman from West Bay has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH after a stabbing at a George Town bar early Wednesday morning. Police said that a man was stabbed, sustaining a serious injury to his chest, during an altercation with a woman known to him at the Cotton Club on Shedden Road in George Town. The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service learned of the incident after the victim went to the hospital in George Town for treatment at around 2:00am.

The police officers subsequently arrested the suspect, who is currently in custody pending further investigation.
