Both missing teenagers found safe and well

(CNS) UPDATED MONDAY: Police said Sunday morning that Teshay Bryan (13) from George Town, who was reported missing after she failed to return home from school on Thursday, has been found and appears to be in good health, according to the RCIPS, who thanked the public for their assistance in finding her. Bryan was seen leaving the John Gray High School on Thursday, 17 January, shortly after 3:30pm, wearing her school uniform, but did not go home. The police received a report that she was missing on Friday afternoon.

Meanwhile, regular teenage runaway Motesha Mothen (15), a resident of the Frances Bodden Children’s Home, who absconded again on Wednesday was also reportedly found safe and well on Monday, police said as they thanked the public for their assistance in tracking the young girl down

Anyone with information about runaways is asked to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-4222. Anonymous tips can also be provided to the RCIPS Confidential Tip Line at 949-7777, or via the website. Tips can also be submitted anonymously via the Miami-based call centre of Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS), or online.

    this is the height of foolishness now. Is there no supervision at all? why are the appropriate persons not looking into this behaviour and bringing these children in line?

    How did she leave? Are the chuldren just allowed to leave walking? Don’t they have to take a school bus or someone pick them up?

      No they are not! Stop trying to lay blame when you the article does not even say from where this young lady absconded. After all you are happy to ignore the existence of these distressed youth most of the time.If you are so concerned then offer your services.

    If Cayman has a crime like “contributing to the delinquency of a minor” it’s time to dust off the law and apply it to whomever is helping these girls run off.
