Cayman News Service(CNS): Thieves have made off with a number of valuable construction tools after break-ins at containers on two construction sites in Yacht Drive, West Bay, overnight Monday-Tuesday. Police said the thefts were reported to them after they were discovered yesterday morning. After processing the scenes, the police are now investigating the thefts. But they are also urging owners of construction equipment to maintain a log of the serial numbers for all of their tools and equipment, with photographs, which could help the police with their investigation and identify the rightful owners of stolen property.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity along Yacht Drive on Monday evening, 21 January, or early Tuesday morning, 22 January, is asked to contact the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.  Anonymous tips or can be submitted directly to police or through Crime Stoppers at 800-8477 or online.
