I haven’t seen any marine enforcement in the Brac for a while I see the truck being used to search for iguanas while the ocean is being raped.

Even Tourists can spear fish in the Bahamas. Caymanians can’t even catch a prup prup without having the helicopter circling over your head making noise and half a dozen DOE vehicles waiting on shore when you get back to see what you have in your boat.

Probably because those Caymanians are stripping the beds clean with no regard to replenishment.

Daily patrols through the marine parks and replenishment zones and you will have the guns back in no time……or maybe just check the people that they were seized from in the first place…………

9:16 alot of those poachers do their activities at night too! So DOE need to be on watch. Ultimately I think a few of those spearguns and parts will end up in the black market here on GCM. So customs might want to start scanning for possible suspects coming through.

The worst part is that the strong (and wealthy) expat community on South Side is suffering the brunt of the burglaries as the thieves hit up their homes while they are away. Marl road has it that items get shipped to Jamaica for sale. Since an officer told me this when I went to report a burglary, I wonder if the RCIP know yet who these thieves are. Shouldn’t be hard.

That shouldn’t even be news. You can’t have Spears guns on Cayman Brac and use them unless you want Erbin to bust you. You have to get up pretty early in the Morning to sneak a lobster there.
