With the amount of times this has happened perhaps she should be wearing an ankle monitor?

She is not a criminal. Just a child with a family that cannot look after her appropriately.

Has anyone at RCIPS read the parable of the boy that cried wolf? The standing press release for Miss Mothen detracts credibility from anything they may wish to issue on non repeat offenders where there is a very real concern that the disappearance is untoward.

seriously can they just hand this kid over to a relative whats the sense of her staying at the girls home and she keeps running away. leave her on the street or where ever she goes.

wasting time only for her to do it again. this isn’t even news anymore

Agreed, if they know she habitually runs away, wouldn’t more stringent measure be taken? Apparently letting a 15 yo run away whenever she feels is okay? This home needs to re-evaluated and/or shut down. If she ran away and something happened to her, is that what it would take for that home to get straightened out?

She did not run from the home. She ran away from the school.

          Tracking device! Simple!
          This is ridiculous now.
I know she’s just a kid but I start to prepare myself to see her in the news every 6 weeks now. The resources that go into finding her. Is she found in the same place each time? Someone has to be held accountable for this child’s behaviors.

Everytime she runs away she is with her mother. Thats where she is now. Birch Tree Hill!!!

Possible issue at the girls home that she’s running away from?

Not necessarily! It could be that the girl is very damaged and the home, through lack of expertise rather than malice, is unable to see to her needs.

Why haven’t they locked someone up yet or fired security at the girls home?

Why is this even in the news? They must know by now where she go when she runs away. They don’t ever share where they find her with the public, and no one ever gets in trouble for harboring her. This is a waste of peoples time. The home should be held responsible some how.

The home is a home not a prison. She likes to do her thing and they can’t stop her without a personal escort to and from school. The police send out notices like this was some kind of kidnapping, over and over. People are going to lose interest in these announcements.

In that case why not the school since it was there she ran away from.
