It doesn’t mean that you have to drive the maximum speed limit. the speed limit is set as a guideline and you can drive anywhere between 0 and the maximum set speed.

I knew Carlton when I worked at one of the local banks. He was a quiet, humble and thoughtful person. Very sad news and he’ll be missed.

I wonder if this is the elderly man that I used to see walking on the road in that area. I always wondered if it was safe for this man to be on the road alone. A very sad situation. RIP sir and my condolences to his family.

Yes, this is the same man. I came upon him the week before, had to brake hard and I was NOT driving beyond the speed limit. I too wondered about his safety because he seemed quite shaky on his feet. He was a very nice gentleman.

Just below where he was hit there is a road sign…REDUCE SPEED NOW!!!! But drivers seem to speed up!
They always seemed to be in a hurry, driving fast and overtaking other cars….. for what? In hurry to get in acccident and cause someone to lose their life.

To the males you don’t look Macho driving fast you look like so ignorant…which is what you proving…..because . people with good manners and upbringing don’t act like these idiots.
Lastly, you do not own the roads. So slow down!!!!

To be fair, I see plenty of women speeding too

          • Anonymous says:

True . Some of females drive like the male drivers.
Be a lady at least behind the wheel. Be a good example to your kids if you are a parent. And to your fellow road users. dd
A vehicle is is like guided missed.

There’s a difference between driving fast and doing the speed limit. Most people seem to drive like snails around here. If it says 30 go 30 it’s not that hard people. 30 mph is hardly break neck speed.
