Marlon Crowe

(CNS): Marlon Crowe (36), a Jamaican national who was wanted by the authorities on suspicion of entering the country illegally, has been arrested alongside another man accused of harbouring him. Police, customs and immigration officers carried out a joint operation at an address on Frank Sound Road on Thursday morning after tracking Crowe to the area. He was arrested and taken into custody. A 30-year-old man from Bodden Town who was at the location was also arrested on suspicion of harbouring a fugitive. They both remain in custody as investigations continue.

Police issued an alert about Crowe last month indicating they had reason to believe he had entered Cayman illegally. He was deported from the Cayman Islands in October last year after he had served part of a 34-month prison term for drug smuggling. Officers had warned that Crowe could be potentially dangerous.

“IF” only IF we had a reliable and honest Immigtation Department…. and we put the churches on notice that immigration would visit and process the members… bet they would not get much attendance or collection that Saturday or Sunday. Our immigration has failed us the Churches are instigators. So sad.. MLA. You start to wake up yet????????????

Gosh the silence is deafening! So just as suspected there would be a non active comment section here, but they out in force on another news outlet celebrating that a young caymanian has got HIMSELF into trouble in the US and now will have to pay the cost. But here is another fine specimen of people contributing so greatly to “building cayman” and no comment. Once a foreign national commits crime as they so often do and people comment, all you hear from the charlatans is caymankind this, so call christian/god fearing country that, and forgiveness must be rendered immediately! Biggest hypocrites ever. Lets all keep ignoring the biggest elephant in the room.. We headed to a good place.

CNS, perhaps the RCIP can clarify whether the “Bodden Town man” is a resident of Bodden Town (ie, a work permit holder living in BT) or is FROM Bodden Town! Has anyone notice of late, that the RCIP no longer distinguishing?!!

Not until the case reaches the courts do we hear the truth.

You may not even hear the truth then. It seems there is no formal verification process to determine whether someone is even Caymanian.
