Former minister denies assault charges

Mike Adam

(CNS): Mike Adam, who was the community affairs minister in the UDP 2009-2012 administration, appeared in Summary Court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to charges of common assault. Adam, a failed CDP candidate for George Town South during the 2017 elections, will face trial next March in relation to an alleged altercation between him and another named man at his West Bay residence in June. No other details were revealed during the court proceedings.
