Cocaine from Bodden Town haul

(CNS): Police have destroyed around 23 kilograms of cocaine after the drugs washed up on a Bodden Town beach on Sunday. The package that contained the drugs, which would have had a street value in excess of $2 million, was found by a resident at around 9:00 that morning as they visited the beach. Officers from the Bodden Town Police Station responded to the report and recovered the large package wrapped in black plastic.

When the police opened the package, they found 20 smaller packages which contained a white powdery substance that the officers believed was cocaine. All of the drugs were destroyed yesterday (20 June), the RCIPS stated in a release Wednesday.

Thats a dumb thing to ask well of course they found it Sunday then we had a holiday Monday so they would have to store it safely till they could get it burned in the incinerator Tuesday when DEH is open back…Also its normal for them to take a picture before storing and burning..

Excellent! A sincere thank you to the resident who found and notified the Police of the drugs found! Also a sincere that you to the RCIPS. Well done!

This is how we as a community must work together – Cohesively which will bear positive impact overall. We have to take Cayman back because the criminals are fast taking over!

I think that the person who found and call the Police , should be given the Citizens Role-Model award of year.
Just think about the actions of this good Citizen, how many people would have done that? You could have counted them on one hand.

But that’s how everyone should do with drugs and criminals.

We need to stop importing criminals. We have our own home grown ones but it is past time for one stripe and you are out. Start deporting them for infractions.

RCIPS seem to have learnt their lesson when it comes to drug storage. Burn it with fire.

Should do the same with illegal cars too.

    Burn it now.
We need volunteers to oversee this or it might be stolen from the lockup.

However, this Ennis bloke seems to be kicking some ass now that the big cheese is off island.

With almost a gram for everyone on the island, this could have been used therapeutically. Experts have found it counteracts the effects of grapefruit juice-induced naughty behavior.
