PPM deny conducting latest poll

(CNS): The Progressives have said that they are not behind yet another political opinion poll currently being conducted on Grand Cayman. As Cayman gears up for the political campaigning to begin in earnest in the coming months, the ruling party issued a short statement Monday denying that they were behind the latest survey.

“The Progressives are not conducting any voter surveys on Grand Cayman at this time and are in no way associated with the current poll of voter opinions as to who they are likely to vote for, even though some of our MLAs are included in the survey,” party officials stated.

“Our MLAs and members are, of course, doing our normal house-to-house visits to hear the views and concerns of voters and to offer any assistance or advice as we usually do,” they said, as they urged people to refute the Party’s association with the present poll on Facebook or wherever else it may be encountered.

Although party officials denied any involvement in the latest poll, PPM veteranfounding member and political hopeful Lucille Seymour is currently conducting an online poll of her own.

There are also a number of other opinion polls and surveys being conducted, as existing and would-be politicians assess the voter opinions ahead of Cayman’s first ever election under the system of ‘one man, one vote’ in single member constituencies. And with more than six months to go before the general election, there is likely to be many more.

Not sure why you all are arguing about the PPM poll that wasn’t. PPM has disassociated itself from the current poll being conducted by a Philipino lady of behalf of a local company – MPCS run by Lena McGowan – a known associate of Elio Solomon. All of my GT friends who have been polled report that Elio’s possibly candidacy has been included in every poll in GT North, GT South, GT West, GT East and Prospect. Food for thought.

Oh please come on people, the time for politics is over.
None of these pathetic, lying jokers can satisfy the soul of the Caymanian people.

What we need are good, honest people, those who are willing to engage their people at every level.

In closing, may I add that Alden McLaughlin, McKeeva Bush and their syncophants need not apply.

They have been weighed in the balance and found wanting. The kingdom will pass to righteous rulers.

Spin indeed. That is the right name for you. Confession is good for the soul. this has been a fantastic Government compared to the last lot.

Yep. Was so bad that they didn’t bother to mention that they had done a survey. I heard that KT was the only one who got a favorable result.he seems to be the hot air (oops meant to say hot gas ) that keeps the little red engine going and going and puff!!
