Police call on witnesses to GT bar shooting

(CNS): As police continue investigations into a shooting outside a bar in the industrial area of George Town on Sunday night, officers are appealing for witnesses. There have been very few details released about the incident, in which a man was shot but did not receive any life-threatening injuries. Police have not said how many times he was shot or how many gunmen they might be looking for. The incident happened around 8pm Sunday on Seymour Drive outside the DLK bar, also known as Dump Road Bar.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has related information to call Detective Inspector Joseph Wright at 936-8169 or the George Town Police Station at 949-4222 or crime stoppers at 800-8477 (TIPS).
