Cops round up one suspect in recent GT robberies

(CNS): Police have arrested a 28-year-old man from Bodden Town in connection with two George Town street muggings last Friday night in which guns were involved. The man, who is currently in police custody, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of robbery. The first mugging took place at around 7:30pm in Tropical Gardens, where a man was hit on the head with a gun and robbed of his keys and phone by two suspects. In the second, which took place in Printers Way at around 10:30pm, a woman was uninjured but robbed of her handbag and phone by three men who had a gun.
