(CNS) Updated Sunday: Police say they have found Jamaican national Christopher Green (32). Last week the RCIPS asked the public for help in tracking him down but now say that he was arrested Saturday by police without incident and remains in custody. Police said Thursday that Green was believed to be in the Cayman Islands illegally and was suspected of being involved in serious criminal activity. The RCIPS said that Green also goes by the name Kevin Green and is known as “Indian” or “Gagga”.

Maybe even a senior immigration officer?

  2. East End Resident says:

That conviction was more than a year ago. I suspect he did not reform and went on to commit more crimes while on probation for this one. Probably more serious seeing he basically got away with that one you refer to without any punishment. When you go too easy on a criminal and there is no repercussion for committing a crime, then why should they bother to think twice about carrying out more?

CNS these are two different guys. The guy in the bottom went school with me, and he’s not the guy. Thank you.

    Please pay attention.

I just want to say a big thank you to our police for all the news we are hearing of late. There are some very bad people out there – some apparently here illegally – and I just love to hear news of them being apprehended by our officers.

The Immigration Department, unfortunately, has been foiled by unethical employees. However, in their stead, excellent leaders are exposed and taking their place.

Lots of Jamaican criminals here as they know CIG is useless

    • Sharkey says:

So many arrested this week, and some in high places . If the acting COP keep this up until the new COP take over there would be no work for him to do. Cayman would be free of criminals and safe again.

Don’t forget the beauty saloons and barber shops especially on the Eastern Ave strip.

Serious criminal activity? In Cayman that would be either marrying another man or not paying your dominoes debts.

  11. Gorgeous Gee says:

Not the same man on pic, just go down eastern avenue, I’m sure his lofting around there

  12. Foreign Devil says:

Put some money on it nuh, I go hang out on Eastern Ave today, we’ll have him before the weekend is up.

I’m a harsh critic of RCIPS but its performance over the last 2 months under Acting Commissioner Ennis deserves, praise, congratulations and support! Great job RCIPS!

Since taking over RCIPS, Acting Commissioner has shamed Commission Baines in directing RCIPS crime-fighting – if Baines has any shame! But he’s gone and HE and the Premier have egg on their faces for publicly supporting a failed Commissioner. More of concern, Madam Governor and Mr. Premier publicly tried to blame Baines’ ineptness and ineffectiveness on politics and/or political harassment and every other excuse in the book, lack of resources, etc.

Anthony Ennis’ impact in such a short time should be enough for Gov and Alden to publicly eat their words. But of course that won’t happen.

Let’s see how RCIPS will continue to perform under Commissioner Byrnes!

Life is sweet after Brexit and Bainsxit. All the scaremongering fools must feel silly now.

The truth of the matter is Caymanians will only rat on Caymanians to Caymanian policemen, thus Baines could never win the battle against crime in Cayman. The same situation will apply to his successor. Ennis is reaping the benefit of his origins.

Just shows you how useless the visa requirement really is. All it does is make life more difficult for the honest Jamaicans who come here.

      What crime ? Weed ?

Talking of “moron”, 3:00pm, if you are a Caymanian I would be careful making comments about the honesty or otherwise of people of other countries. Bear in mind the recent Care Pay and FIFA corruption trials and the ongoing multiple suspensions of and investigations of officers in our “proudly 100% Caymanian staffed” Immigration and Customs Departments.

what is the crime he’s involved in, we would like to know? don’t we have a right to know?

why do west indians always have at least 2 names?????

    • Anonymous says:

To sow the seeds of confusion for the police to evade detection. (I’m not so bold, although I did once include my confirmation name on a form for my cycling proficiency test for a dare.)

    • Anonymous says:

I think you mean Jamaicans not West Indians… I don’t know anyone from Cayman or any other West Indian islands where people have multiple names.

      • anonymous says:

You lot are always bashing Jamaicans and check your family history you are all related to them somehow. So there.

Cos they never sure who is baby daddy.

Cops and Immigration need to make early morning impromptu raids in BT, GT, WB & EE. Would be surprised who and what will show up in those raids. Check our coast line people especially in EE ask any fisherman about the unfamiliar boats they see when they night fish but are usually afraid to confront the occupants or when they do they are told that they are Caymanians and have a right to be in the sea too.

I suggest the police interview all our senior immigration officers, it seems incredible that so many of them are either arrested or suspended, not to mention the customs offcer on the Brac. How many civil servants will be paid indefintely whilst awaiting trial?.

Why don’t you be more specific. What is his height? That is very important.

  21. Anonymous says:

The police should check the various construction companies, the guys that work on the job sites always know that is going on in the island good or bad. Other sources are the bars and Fish Fry joints.
