Dr Jemal Khan

(CNS): A chiropractor based in George Town who is already facing indecent assault charges in relation to female patients has been charged with two more counts after two more women came forward, police said Thursday. Jemal (Jamie) Khan (47), who is now facing 20 charges against 14 different women, was bailed to appear in court on 13 September. Although the Council of Professions Allied with Medicine (CPAM) has reportedly suspended Khan’s licence, CNS has learned that he is now offering an alternative therapy that is not regulated by the CPAM.

Since he was charged, Khan has begun offering a new service called Energy Balance, described as healing the body of back pain, neck pain, headaches, lethargy and other complaints by “activating its natural healing energies” of balance. According to the website, Khan is seeing patients at the same office where the indecent assaults were alleged to have taken place at the Cayman Chiropractic & Medical Centre, in Pasadora Place.
