Teenager denies robbing WB mini-mart twice

Mini-mart in West Bay, robbed on 19 March and 21 April 2016

(CNS): A teenage boy pleaded not guilty on Friday to robbing a West Bay mini-mart over a period of five weeks earlier this year. The teenager, who is still a minor and cannot be named, was remanded in custody to Eagle House, the juvenile unit at HMP Northward, until his trial, which was scheduled for November. The boy denied robbing Eddie’s Minimart No2, which is on Birch Tree Hill Road, on the 19 March and then again on 21 April this year.

Police say that in the first stick-up, armed with what appeared to be a gun, the suspect stole five phones and $930; he then robbed then robbed the store again a few weeks later with what appeared to be a gun, running off this time with just over $430 and cigarette papers.
