GT man arrested over stabbing on 7MB

(CNS): Police arrested a 26-year-old man from George Town Friday on suspicion of stabbing a 21-year-old man around 2:00am on 20 July in the car park near the public beach area on Seven Mile Beach. The suspect was reportedly identified by one of the victim’s friends. Immediately after the incident, the victim’s condition was described as critical but is now said to be stable, although he remains in hospital. The stabbing was reported to the police after the 21-year-old man turned up at the hospital with a serious stab wound.
