Gunman at large after police discover spent shells

Cayman News Service(CNS): Police are on the hunt for a gunman in George Town after shots were fired in the capital just after midnight early Monday (27 June). An RCIPS spokesperson said that officers responded to the report of gunshots fired near to Vic’s Bar on the junction of North Sound Road and Seymour Drive in the industrial area. The police found a number of spent shells in the area but no one has been arrested.

Anyone with information is asked to call George Town CID at 949-4222.  Anonymous tips can be provided via the Miami-based call centre of Crime Stoppers at 800-8477(TIPS).
