GT man charged after pulling gun in late night bar

Cayman News Service(CNS): In one of two firearms related crimes this weekend, the police have charged a 43-year-old man from George Town with possession of an imitation firearm after 911 received a report that a man had pulled a gun on other patrons during a dispute at the Rooftop Lounge and Bar on Mary Street around 2am Friday morning, 6 May. Police officers went the area while 911 obtained a further description of the suspect and his movements as he left the establishment.

At about 2:20am, the officers saw the man on McField Lane and arrested him. He is currently in custody.

Today the man has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm and is scheduled to appear in court.
